The scope below is fixed. Seven deliverables, four phases, ten weeks. Nothing more, nothing less.
What's In
Brand Strategy & Positioning
We begin with a full audit of Luminous Studios' existing visual identity — seven years of brand equity that no longer reflects your current specialization in commercial animation and brand storytelling for tech-startup clients. From that audit, we define a new positioning platform: audience, competitive differentiation, brand personality, and the creative direction brief that governs every design decision downstream. No logo work starts until this document is signed off. That's not a formality — it's the foundation that prevents expensive misdirection later.
Logo & Mark Design
We design a primary logo, a secondary horizontal lockup, and an isolated mark. Each is developed to work across light and dark contexts — essential for a studio whose identity will live on dark-mode websites, pitch decks, and enterprise presentations. Final files are delivered as vector source files and export-ready PNGs, covering full-colour, reversed, and single-colour variants. One logo system, fully resolved.
Visual Identity System
The colour system defines primary, secondary, and neutral palettes with HEX, RGB, and CMYK values — every specification a supplier or developer needs to reproduce the brand without calling you. Typography is equally explicit: typefaces, weights, sizes, and line-height ratios for heading and body usage. No interpretive gaps. The system is built to scale as Luminous Studios grows its enterprise client roster beyond the three December pitches.
Brand Applications
We apply the finalized identity to three agreed touchpoints:
- Website Mockups — High-fidelity, static mockups at desktop and mobile breakpoints for the homepage and one interior page (About or Work), designed against representative content. These are not wireframes; they show exactly how the identity performs on screen.
- Business Card Artwork — Press-ready artwork at standard 3.5 × 2 in, supplied as a PDF with bleed and crop marks. Production-ready from day one.
- Presentation Template — A master slide deck in Google Slides or PowerPoint (your confirmed choice, locked in before Phase 3 begins) covering title, section divider, content, and closing layouts. The template your team will use in those December enterprise pitches.
Brand Guidelines
A paginated PDF that documents the complete system — logo usage rules, colour specifications, typographic scale, and one applied example per brand application deliverable. Any designer or third-party supplier can implement the identity from this document without ambiguity.
What's Out
The following are explicitly excluded from this engagement. If any of these become requirements, they are treated as additional scope and priced separately before work begins.
- Motion graphics, animation assets, or any moving-image execution of the identity — including animated logo treatments
- Website development, CMS build, or any production code
- Photography, custom illustration, or iconography beyond the logo mark itself
- Copywriting, naming, or tagline development
- Print production management or vendor liaison for physical materials
- Social media template suites or any application not listed above
We are not building a social media kit or an animated brand package. Luminous Studios produces motion work — that's your craft, not ours. The identity system we deliver will be engineered so your own team can extend it into motion without constraint.
Revision Rounds
Up to two rounds of consolidated revisions are included per deliverable. "Consolidated" means a single written document containing all feedback from all internal stakeholders — not a sequence of individual notes arriving over several days. Revision rounds beyond the two included are billed as additional scope, documented via a change order before any work restarts.
Assumptions & Dependencies
This scope holds under three conditions: typefaces selected are either commercially licensed by Luminous Studios or open-source (font licensing fees are not included in the project fee); no third-party asset procurement — stock photography, licensed illustration — is required for any deliverable; and a single named approver on your side has authority to issue written sign-off at each review gate. Consensus rounds are not built into this schedule. With the November 13, 2026 completion date fixed to your December launch, the sign-off process has no slack.
